Honda Sensing is standard on most newer Hondas. Its camera sits at the top of the windshield behind the rearview mirror and works with a radar sensor in the front of the vehicle. Some of the newest models use Honda Sensing 360, which adds sensors around the car.
When the windshield is replaced, Honda calls for the camera to be recalibrated so it reads lanes, vehicles and distance correctly again.
Depending on the model, Honda's camera is recalibrated with targets in our shop or on a road drive. Either way, our technicians run a pre-scan, calibrate with Autel equipment and run a post-scan before you leave.
Honda Sensing features vary by model and year. Not sure what your Honda has? Send us your VIN and we'll check.
