From a Corolla commuter to a Tacoma that sees more dirt roads than pavement, Toyotas are built to last. On most newer Toyotas the windshield also holds the Toyota Safety Sense camera, so the glass has to be the right part for your trim, and the camera has to be recalibrated after it goes in.

Know your glass
Two Toyotas of the same model and year can need different windshields. Trim level and options decide which glass fits, so we never order by model name alone. We check your VIN first.
Toyotas with Safety Sense use a windshield with a camera bracket bonded to the glass and a clear viewing area in front of the lens. The bracket has to sit exactly where your camera expects it.
On select trims, your speed and directions are projected onto the windshield. HUD glass has a special wedge-shaped layer so the image stays sharp and single, not doubled.
Many Toyotas use acoustic glass to keep the cabin quiet, and some use solar-coated glass to cut heat, which matters in Arizona.
Rain-sensing wipers on select trims read through the glass. We reinstall the sensor with the right gel pad so it works like it did before.
Toyota Safety Sense
Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) is standard on most newer Toyotas. Its forward camera sits at the top of the windshield, behind the rearview mirror, and works with a radar sensor at the front of the vehicle.
Toyota requires the front camera to be recalibrated after a windshield replacement. A tiny change in where the camera points can throw off how it judges distance and lane position, so this step isn't optional.
Toyota's camera recalibration is usually done with calibration targets in our shop. Our technicians run a pre-scan, calibrate with Autel equipment and run a post-scan to confirm the system is working before you leave.

Warns you and can brake if it detects a vehicle or pedestrian ahead.

Alerts you, and on some models steers, when you drift out of your lane.
Lane Tracing Assist
Helps keep you centered in the lane with cruise control on.

Toyota has used several versions over the years (TSS-P, TSS-C, 2.0, 2.5, 2.5+ and 3.0), and which features you have depends on your model and year. We confirm yours from the VIN.

Toyota trucks and SUVs spend a lot of time on Arizona highways and dirt roads, and their upright windshields take a lot of rock hits. Catch a chip early and you can often avoid a replacement. Our chip repairs are done in the shop: $79 for the first chip and $30 for each additional chip.
We also replace truck back glass, including fixed and sliding rear windows on Tacomas and Tundras, and the roll-down rear window glass on the 4Runner.

Yes, if it has Toyota Safety Sense. Toyota requires the front camera to be recalibrated after the windshield is replaced. We do it in house and confirm it with a post-scan.
